Twelve-Point Chant
Twelve-point chant is a simple and melodic form of congregational psalm chant developed at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Nashville, TN. It was designed to occupy a middle ground between the beautiful but difficult forms of chanting reserved for trained choirs and the overly simple forms that have been offered for congregational singing.
Twelve-point chant is a simple, melodic and text-enhancing form of chant that is accessible to any congregation that values the communal singing of Psalms.
